Iyovwaye Leads NDC Delta North Familiarisation and Consultation Tour
Chris Iyovwaye participated in an NDC stakeholders’ consultation and familiarisation exercise covering communities in Delta North as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue.
The engagement brought together party leaders, ward executives, youths, women, community stakeholders and supporters from Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Oshimili North and Oshimili South Local Government Areas.
Iyovwaye attended the event alongside the NDC’s Delta North senatorial candidate, Victor Ochei, and other candidates and party leaders.
The consultation was designed to strengthen communication between the party’s candidates and communities while allowing party stakeholders to discuss issues relevant to the different local government areas.
Speaking during the gathering, Iyovwaye emphasised grassroots mobilisation, participation and accountable leadership. He encouraged residents and party stakeholders to view the consultations as an opportunity for direct interaction between candidates and the people.
Victor Ochei, who led the Delta North senatorial delegation, also introduced the NDC candidates for Aniocha North State Constituencies I and II.
The engagement formed part of a wider series of consultations across Delta North. Reports from the event said the party intended to continue the consultations across the nine local government areas that make up the senatorial district.
The event therefore provided an opportunity for the NDC candidates to interact directly with local stakeholders as the party develops its political structure ahead of the 2027 general elections. Flashpoint News Rep
