2027: Peter Obi, Omo-Agege vows support as Iyovwaye unveils Delta NDC campaign HQ
Deacon Chris Iyovwaye, the Governorship Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Delta State inaugurated the party’s Campaign Headquarters in Asaba, the State capital.
Present at the inaugurated on Thursday were the NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi, Delta Central Senatorial candidate Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Delta North Senatorial candidate Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Delta South Senatorial candidate Chief Adowei Binaebi, party leaders, stakeholders and supporters.
Speaking at the event, Iyovwaye said the headquarters would serve as the operational centre for the campaign’s statewide consultations, policy development and grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Iyovwaye said his campaign would focus on governance that delivers measurable improvements in Deltans’ welfare, security, and economic prospects.
“If you have governance where there is no value addition to the life and welfare of the people, it cannot be governance,” Iyovwaye stated. “If you look at all the parameters that make for quality living — security, healthcare, transportation and housing — those are the critical areas we want to address so that the quality of life of every Deltan is enhanced.”
